Warm Almond Butter & Black Berry Sandwich

For me, the PB&J is the ultimate comfort food, and the first food I converted to clean eating.  I have found that fresh berries and a warm sandwich deliver the ultimate dose of comfort. To keep the sandwich supper clean and healthy, I use 1 slice of the most nutritious gluten-free bread I can find or make (the gluten-free sandwich below was made with Timtana bread), add a layer of any fresh berry or apple slices, and a Tbs of any nut or seed butter (i.e. almond, sunflower butter, with no salt, oil or sugar added), then assemble and nuke for about 25 seconds.  So simple and so delicious!
