Nutrition Kick Smoothie

Gluten-Free, Vegetarian, Lactose Free

When ingredients are carefully selected, smoothies are a fast and easy way to boost your nutrition intake.  Making smoothies at home, with beautiful ripe fruits and natural ingredients, is the best way to be sure you are getting top notch nutrition without unwanted sugars and bad fats. For successful smoothies, be sure to put the ingredients in the blender in the order listed below.

This recipe will make 1 huge smoothie so you can share with a friend.
  • 2/3 cups cold water
  • 1/4 cup fresh grapes, green or red or both (about 2-3 large grapes)
  • 1/8 cup fresh blackberries (about 3 big berries)
  • 1/4 cup fresh strawberries (about 2-3 big berries)
  • 1/8 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 small orange (peeled)
  • 1/8 of 1 apple (with skin on)
  • 1/8 cup sweet clover sprouts
  • 1 small banana
  • 1/8 cup mixed baby green salad mix
  • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries (preferably wild blueberries to ensure lower sugar content, Wyman's is a great brand)
  • 1 scoop Biochem 100% Whey Protein Powder - natural flavor (all other flavors contain sweeteners which you don't need for this recipe)
  • 1/2 cup of ice

Just toss everything into your blender in the order listed, and blend until smooth.  Voila, you have a delicious and fast meal with an amazing nutrition profile.  The fresh fruits make the greens and sprouts undetectable, making this smoothie a great way to sneak these nutrient dense ingredients into anyones diet who won't eat their veggies.
