Herbed Seasoning Oil

Herbed Seasoning Oil is an easy way to add a hint of flavor to all of your savory cooking.

  • 1 cup good quality, extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Tbs fresh rosemary or basil or thyme, mint etc. etc. just use your favorite herb
  • 1 tsp sea salt (optional)
  • 1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 clove of fresh garlic

Measure all of the ingredients into a food processor and blend until well combined, about 1 minute.


Pour the oil into an air tight container (a glass mason jar works great) and store in the door of the fridge. Give the jar a good shake or stir just before using.


How To Use Herbed Seasoning Oil:

  • using a pastry brush, lightly brush 1 tbs of oil on a whole chicken before oven roasting
  • toss 2 tbs with root veggies just before roasting
  • use a pastry brush and very lightly oil bread pans, skillets and pizza stones
  • great for seasoning new stone bake-ware
  • very, very lightly brush on toast, goes great with eggs! Yummy.
